This Is What Disability Looks Like
This Is What Disability Looks Like is a "visual culture campaign" that "seeks to counter messages that disability is a tragedy or inspirational." Unlike inspiration porn, these pictures work to challenge people's expectations of people with disabilities by portraying them in a way that is not patronizing or denying anyone of their agency. The project was recently featured in Bitch magazine. I think it's pretty much the coolest thing ever. Check it out!
